The stone held above the black chunks
One hand lifts a porous stone above a pile of black chunks. The chunks rest on a rough slab covered with dark dust. The other hand braces the near edge of the slab.
The upper stone is irregular, and the same black dust coats its underside. The chunks in the center are thick and barely shine. The slab is pale and porous, and the dust stains it around the pile. The right hand, in a dark sleeve, only touches the edge. A curtain with pink flowers and the dirt floor show behind. No face is visible. The mill is not in the frame.
