Yellow flowers with four petals
A cluster of yellow flowers, with four petals, grows on green stems. Many closed buds stand higher than the open flowers. Behind them, out of focus, a dirt road runs among pines.
The open flowers gather in the center. On the left, some buds have not opened yet. Drops show on some leaves and on the stems. The foreground ground is covered with pine needles, reddish in color. The road is pale and crosses the background horizontally. The hill behind stays in green shadow. Nobody enters the frame.
