Orange flowers and dry seed heads
Tall stems fill the frame, with open orange flowers and many dry, round seed heads. The background is soft: green foliage and a blue ridge. The light comes from the front and picks out the stems.
Some flowers still hold open petals, and others are already dark heads at the end of a thin stem. The lower leaves are broad and green. Out-of-focus branches sit in the lower corner. The stems cross, and some of them bend. Neither the ground nor any person is visible. Behind them, the green foliage and the blue ridge fall out of focus.
