A dry trunk before the ridges
A thin trunk without a crown stands at the right, on yellow earth. Behind it, forested ridges drop toward a valley, with patches of bare ground. The sky is blue and clear.
The trunk keeps a few short, twisted branches. Green shrubs, dry grass, and a fallen branch surround it. The ridges alternate dark forest and pale patches of earth. On the left the foliage is lower and more continuous. A pine with a crown enters at the right edge. No people are in the frame, and the foreground is only earth and plants.
