Hooks and a chain on the adobe wall
Dark metal hooks and a pale chain hang on a reddish adobe wall. A dark strap forms a loop. Lower down is a small pale metal piece. No wheel is visible.
The hooks bend downward and the chain falls in two lengths, one longer than the other. The loop is a dark, flexible material. The wall is made of large adobe blocks laid in courses, with wide earthen joints. The photographer's note speaks of pulleys and a chain. The frame shows the hooks, the chain, and the loop; there is no pulley wheel.
