Maize kernels on the dirt
Maize kernels, pale and loose, are scattered on reddish dirt. Some lie together and others apart. There is a flat stone, small pebbles, and a green leaf at the edge.
Several kernels are broken, and a few have a reddish tip. The dirt looks dry, with cracks beside the flat stone. There is no basket and no maize plant: only the loose grain. The note says maize, and the kernels match that word.
