The needle shows at the cylinder's seam

The cylinder is held level and the overlap runs along its length. A pencil line follows that overlap. The needle sticks up at the far end of the line, under the fingers of the man in yellow. The orange thread hangs in a loop from that end. The hands in the black sleeve hold the near rim. Behind them are white plastic chairs, a clear bottle with a blue cap, and a clear cup. The faces stay outside the frame.
