The trumpet held low, his back to the boy
An adult man in a hat stands with his back turned, the trumpet toward the ground and a dark flat object in the other hand. A boy in a peach shirt looks at him. A small dog sits at left.
The silver bell of the trumpet hangs by his leg. The object in the other hand is flat and dark, and it cannot be named. The boy wears red shorts and holds his hands together. Between them are pink flowers on tall stems and a chain-link fence. A metal roof shows on the left, and the ridges are behind. The note says teacher, student, and dance. Here the face is turned away, and there is no headdress or stick.
