The bell of the trumpet toward the ground
In black and white, a man seated on a stump plays the trumpet. The bell points down, to the left. Both hands are on the instrument. Leaves and buckets of plants surround him.
He is alone in the frame. He wears a light shirt, dark trousers, a belt, and dark shoes. One foot reaches forward and the other stays beside the stump. The cut wood of the stump shows its grain. A wire crosses above the leaves. Buckets and pots stand on both sides. Foliage fills the background, and the ground is scattered with dry leaves.
