The blue cross beside the muddy street
Rain falls on a street of orange mud that bends to the right. A white metal roof follows the curve. A blue cross is painted on the wall, and the sidewalk has a yellow edge.
The drops show in the air and on the metal sheet. The wall under the white roof is stained dark near the ground. A pole cuts across the roof, and the wires cross in several directions. Beyond, the banana leaves stand out against the grey sky. On the right is a second roof, darker and lower. Grass grows in the foreground on a rim of wet earth.
