The lifted knee and the dog lying down

The youth in a dark shirt smiles and holds one hand open. The boy in a light shirt brings his hands together in front of his chest. Smaller girls and boys are behind them, and one of them smiles too. Several short sticks lie loose on the boards. The dog on the left lies in the vegetation and looks toward the camera. The other dog stands nearer the center, behind the rail. Pines fill the background.
