Abertano in profile, in black and white
The photograph is black and white. Maestro Abertano Gerónimo Cantú García stands in profile and plays the trumpet. A ridge, bare branches, and a metal wall stand behind him.
He wears a straw hat, a light shirt, jeans, and dark shoes. Both feet are on the concrete. One hand holds the trumpet and the other rests on the valves. There is no score and no dog. The note says he is playing the seven melodies of the dance. The frame cannot count them. The floor does not show the blue lines of the court.
