Pockets of mist under the dark cloud
Several white patches of mist lie on the forested slope. A dark cloud fills the sky and leaves a break. A spiky plant and bare branches sit in the foreground.
The mist is not one band: it is several short masses among the crowns. The mountain behind looks bluer and smoother. The break in the sky is white and sits to the right of the cloud. The bare branches in front have dark tips. The spiky plant is in the lower left corner, with stiff leaves. Branches of another tree also enter on the right.
