A torn banana leaf in the rain
A banana leaf, seen close up, is covered in drops. Toward one end it splits into strips, and the drops follow the parallel veins. Behind it is another leaf, dark and out of focus.
The bright sky shows through the cuts. The strips at the edge bend downward and show the pale rim of the tear. Large drops sit beside tiny ones. The center of the leaf is still in one piece. The light comes from behind and leaves the lower part in shadow. A loose strip crosses that shadow.
