Abertano plays behind the boy holding the stick
The photograph is black and white. Maestro Abertano Gerónimo Cantú García plays the trumpet behind a smiling boy. The boy holds a light stick with both hands. The trees behind them are out of focus.
The bell points to the right and both hands are on the trumpet. The patch on the cap cannot be read. The belt has a repeated pattern. The boy smiles toward the right, with the hair shaved at the sides and longer on top. The light stick crosses his torso, held in both hands. There is no bleacher behind them, only foliage out of focus.
